I went with the pre-coloured digi this month and decided to fussy-cut and decoupage his ear-muffs, tree, beak, and wing, and lifted them with foam tape. Daniel is so cute - I know my young friend will love this card. For the background, I used a digi of snow and sky that I got as a freebie from Spyder's Corner (thank you, Lyn), and I added Icicle Stickles along the snow. I included a banner die-cut with punched trees that I stamped with letters to spell "joy." Lastly I added a little bling with a row of gems along the bottom.

Now for my 3-D gift tag. I decided to take another stab at this. It took a lot of fussy-cutting, and I don't think it looks that great, but I decided to enter it in the "12 Days of Christmas" challenge at Mark's Finest Papers. I stamped the ornament a few times on red and green cardstock, fussy-cut, glued together, and added Stickles. If you'd like to make your own 3-D gift tag, you can find a tutorial here - these can look very pretty, but I just don't think I have the hang of it yet.

Awww Kitty, your duck card is adorable. 'Daniel' t pops from the gorgeous snow scene you have created and the JOY bannner is a lovely touch. I do have to smile at the lovely sentiment - just perfect for your young duck loving friend. Oh, can you just imagine her/his face when receiving this especially made card - I'm seeing pure joy.
The 3D Christmas ornament on your tag is gorgeous. It looks as though it was a very intricate piece of crafting but wow - worth all your work. Hope it's going on a very special gift as it's so special in itself.
