Altered Mouse Trap

Hello, everyone.  Today I present to you my very interesting Christmas project:  a Mouse Trap Fridge Magnet.  I would never have thought of anything like this on my own - I was inspired by the "12 Days of Christmas" challenges going on at Mark's Finest Papers - I'm trying to make my way through all 12 challenges.  This is my tenth project, so I have just two more to go.  I'm glad there was a tutorial.  It's sort of neat because you can insert a little "to-do" list under the spring. 

Here are the supplies used:

• Stamps:   Cardinal, holly (dollar store), sentiment ("A Little Note" from Crafty Secrets Bird Notes Clear Art Stamps)
• Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
• Coloured pencils:  Prismacolor
• Cardstock:  Recollections
• Dies:  Nellie's Multiframes Ovals
• Mouse trap:  Hardware store
• Acrylic paint:  Dollarama
• Ribbon:  Offray
• Magnetic strips on back:  Dollarama
• Accents:  Metallic tree and snowflake, sequins, holly leaves, star (dollar store)
