Hi, everybody! Today I'm sharing a thinking-of-you card. My Mom likes to keep these on hand, as well as sympathy cards, to send when the occasion arises. This is one of several that I made for her stash. The image is Beccy's Place Bird on a Wire and it was a freebie at one point (thank you!) but is now part of the Birdsong set. I used the precoloured version.
I inked around the edges of the image with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then adhered to a scrap of brown patterned paper. I created the background by stamping Judikins Sheet Music on kraft cardstock and then inking the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I adhered the bird panel onto the sheet music with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on an oval-shaped label and adhered.

Gorgeous card Kitty, I love the addition of the music score in the background, it has a lovely vintage vibe. I also like the way you've distressed the edges of the image panel, it adds some wonderful texture. Brown was a great choice of colour for the mat as it coordinates well with the other elements.
