Gingerbread Cookies

Hello, everyone!  Woot, woot!  It's the first day of Beccy's 9th Annual Month of Holiday Cards!  Each day she provides an inspiration card along with an alphabet prompt (or some other challenge) to inspire us to make our holiday cards - thank you, Beccy!  I can't believe it's been 9 years already - Wow!  

Today's letter is A, but I'm jumping ahead to G for Gingerbread.  My card features Beccy's Place Gingerbread set.  It's my favourite - and most used - set from her shop.  I make it into a card (or cards) every year and never tire of it.  

For this card I used the gingerbread house, gingerbread man, tree cookies, and wording.  I coloured all of the images with my markers and fussy-cut.  The house and man are popped up on foam tape.  I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White to the chimney and around the door.  I created the background by ink-smooshing Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide on textured watercolour paper.  I adhered a stitched landscape die-cut (left over from last year's cardmaking),and I adhered three red snowflake sequins.   

I love how my card turned out, even if my gingerbread man appears to be flying.  I think they run *and* jump, don't they!?
