Holiday Card 6 - E for Evergreens and Embossing

Hello, everybody!  I'm back again today with another holiday card.  Inspiration for my holiday cards has come from the alphabet prompts over at Beccy's Place - she is having her sixth annual Month of Holiday Cards ChallengeDay 6 is "E" - I went with Evergreens and Embossing Folder.  (For an update on my husband's health, please see my earlier post here.)

I recently won this beautiful Poinsettia image from Imagine That Digistamp (thank you, Kris!).  I used the pre-coloured image and fussy-cut three of the same image so I could pop each layer on foam tape.  The embossing folder is Couture Creations Sugarplum Ball.  The patterned paper and sentiment banner are from EnoGreeting Christmas Collection 6x6" paper pack.  I added a strip of sparkly gold washi tape and some green gems.

I would also like to support the following challenges:
A Gem of a Challenge AG 2/3
Allsorts Poppies or the Colour Red 2/3
Crafty Catz Getting Ready for Christmas 3/3
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper November UE

Incy Wincy Christmas 4/5
Imagine That Digistamp Year-round Link-up UE

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a joyful day!

Wow!! This is so classy and beautiful! Very elegant! Love the traditional and vintage feel! Well done with layering the poinsettia, it has a wonderful dimension and is a perfect catch-eye!! Love so much the detail of the glittered washi tape behind it, the green banner and the gems! The design looks really wonderful with the two different zones, and such beautiful contrast by the embossing on the white and the amazing paper!! Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the image you used on this card Kitty, the poinsettias and pine branches are gorgeous. The traditional Christmas colours look very festive too. Great choice of patterned paper for the bottom of the card, it was a great idea to cover the join with the piece of sparkly gold tape. Love it!
Cheers,
Beccy
