Holiday Card 35 - Winter Wishes

Hi, everybody!  My holiday cards continue!  All month I've been inspired by the alphabet prompts over at Beccy's Place and her Month of Holiday Cards Challenge.  November is nearly over and Beccy is at the end of the alphabet. I've already shared my "Z" card so I'm revisiting "W" for Winter Wishes.

Here I've used another alcohol ink background that I made some time ago. I don't recall the specific colours used, but it was a mixture of several shades of blue.  I added some snowfall with a white paint marker, but I wish I had not as I liked it better without.  As for the beautiful die, I do not know the name as I received it in some friend mail.  The embossing folder is Taylored Expressions Winter Flurry, and I stamped a sentiment from Your Next Stamp.

I would also like to support the following challenges: ABC Christmas W for Wishes UE; Cardz 4 Guys Christmas Critters 3/3; Crafting by Designs Get Ready for Christmas 1/3; Crafty Creations AG 1/2; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Optional Make Your Own Background UE; Creatalicious AG Optional Layer it Up UE; DL.ART November Linky AG UE 1/d; Happy Little Stampers AG w Dies UE; Happy Little Stampers Christmas Clean and Simple UE; Just Keep on Creating November AG UE; Mod Squad Happy H-Owlidays Use a Critter(s) on Holiday Card 1/3; Pammie's Inky Pinkies AG 3/3; PINspirational Inspiration Photo (I was inspired by the deer) 4/5; Scribbles Designs Reindeer Games 3/3; Simon Says Stamp Wednesday AG 1/5; Simon Says Stamp Work-It Wednesday Ho-Ho Holidays 1/3; The House That Stamps Built Repeat Impressions Anything Goes Challenge ~ N2818 1/3; Word Art Wednesday AG w Uplifting Sentiment 1/5 Wk 2

Oh Kitty, this is just a dream!! I just LOVE this series of white deers cards with a blue alcohol ink backgrounds!! Love them very much!!! They are all amazing and this one isn't an exception!!! In my opinion the falling snow is just perfect!!! It adds interest without being invasive! The scenic diecut is fabulous and your inked background is wonderful!!!!!Love the two stripes to finish the panel and the snowflake base!! I hope to see other cards of this series! :D

Background looks super but I do know what you mean about wishing afterwards that you had not added just that last little bit. It is hard to know when to stop and we are always our own worst critic . Totally love this card. Hugs Mrs A.

What a beautiful card Kitty, well done! I've really enjoyed seeing your alcohol ink backgrounds, the blues have all worked so beautifully together and remind me of the aurora. I love the way you've done this one, I think the little dots of snow work perfectly... it actually looks as though the deer are taking refuge under the trees. Beautiful!
Cheers,
Beccy

Gorgeous background for that awesome die cut. I love the design of your card it has been really nice following all your cards for Beccy's challenge and I hope I see it next year it will make the last push for cards easier to have prompts. By November my brain is lacking design cells.

This is a gorgeous card! I'd seen it done in brown with a sunset-type background, but I am really loving how you used the alcohol ink background in blue! So pretty! Thanks very much for joining our challenge this week at PIP Challenges!
