My Candy is here. I'm a new blogger hoping for 50 followers.
I made this Thinking of You card today after being inspired by several challenges (see below), and I wanted to use my rubber stamps (no digis).
I covered a white card base with nectarine cardstock, stamped the sentiment in black, and affixed two torn squares: one a torn dictionary page; the other a nectarine panel onto which I stamped French script and inked the edges. I stamped the kitty in black on striped DP, die cut into an oval, and layered on a decorative white oval. I added a strip of black cardstock and then affixed the kitty oval with foam tape. Lastly, I embellished with three flowers, attached with gem-filled brads, and added six black gems. Here are the supplies I used:
- Stamps: Kitty (Inkadinkado), French script (Stampin' Up!), sentiment (The Artful Stamper)
- Ink: Versafine Onyx Black DP, Flowers, Brads: Dollarama
- Cardstock: Bazzill, Recollections White Card Base: Domtar
- Dies: Nellie's Multiframes - Ovals and Decorative Ovals
- Gems: Want2Scrap
- Sketch: Papertake Weekly (see below)
- Colour inspiration: Rockwell Designs (see below)
