Hello, everybody! Today I'm sharing another card I made with inspiration from Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards. You will see the photo and link to Beccy's challenge on my right-hand sidebar all month so I hope you'll join the fun! It's an alphabet challenge so I went with N for non-traditional colours.
Again I've used a kitty from one of Beccy's newer digitals called Christmas Kitties. This is my favorite kitty in the set as she reminds me of our Snowie. I coloured her with markers to look like Snowie, and the ornament pink to match, and then fussy-cut. My inky background was originally destined for another card but it didn't work out; it was in my "waiting to be used" box, made a long time ago with either Distress Inks or Distress Oxides, mostly likely with the ink-smooshing technique.

Thank you for looking at my card! Wishing you a peaceful day!

You uploaded this in time for the race at Beccy's!!! I used up all my luck yesterday :) I love the filigree die cuts for the corners and the background paper is perfect, so soft and lovely. The kitty is so cute and the sentiment is perfect for it.
So cute. Regine

Oh my - so cute! I love the sentiment to go with the adorable kitty. He (or she) is so obviously enthralled with that ornament :)
Another cute image and a cute and pretty card. Love the corner dies you used on this too.

I'm always amazed at how different an image can look when done in different colours... this is a great example Kitty. I absolutely LOVE how wonderful the kitty looks in such soft colours. And it's even better that you coloured her the same as one of your own fur babies. Love it!
Cheers,
Beccy
Splendid!!!! The picture reminds me of Puss in Boots from the movie "Shrek", he can look so cute too!!! I love your very very cute card!!!
Hi Kitty! Love this cute cat and the fact you coloured her as Snowie... You made a fabulous sweet design for her and love so much your own background. My "waiting to be used" box is actually three boxes and two folders! :D LOL. Love the gorgeous corners and the festive bow with the bauble! Great take of the sketch!
Heartfelt hugs dear friend, wishing you too a peaceful day full of love and joy!
Darling cat and window design over your lovely background, like that bow/ornament too!
Hi Kitty - don't know where my comment has disappeared to . . . but I did leave one!
Love the layout and all the die cut elements. Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. After you've finished playing hopscotch, please come up to the Treehouse for a hot chocolate! x
What an adorable card Kitty! And such a sweet tribute to lovely Snowie - I often look at her photo when I come here as she was such a pretty girl. They do say the price of love is heartbreak. But, where would we be if we didn't dare to love?
Hugs, Di xx
