Joy (Recycled Christmas Card)

Hello, everyone!  I'm afraid I'm not keeping up with my blog visiting, but I haven't given up yet.  Today I have a card to share - I recycled some sparkly images from an old Christmas card.

I was inspired by Sketch Saturday 639 and I rotated it counter-clockwise:

I used lots of snippets on this card so I am joining Di at Pixie's Snippet Playground 392.  All of the pink cardstock die-cuts are snippets, as is the white embossed panel.  Maybe the old recycled card counts as a snippet too?  Below is what remains of the recycled card, and I will be using that in the future.  I love the sparkly squares!

Remains of Old
Recycled Card

My card theme was inspired by The UnstampaBelles, where the December challenge is Joy with a twist of Music.  There is no stamping on this card.  I used my Nellie's Multiframe Squares to die-cut the images from the recycled card and mounted each one on pink cardstock.  I embossed the white panel with a music background and die-cut with Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangle and then mounted on a pink panel. Other die-cuts used are Poppystamps Melody Music and Serendipity Stamps Joy.  I finished the card by adding a few pink gems.

I would also like to support the following 7 challenges, for a total of 10:

Hello Kitty - lovely to see you here with us. What a fresh and very pretty card. I think the little upcycled pieces do count as snippet - but then I only run the Playground, someone else make up the rules now. What say you Dudley Dog? Woof - which means 'Yes'!!

Hugs
