Hi, everybody! Welcome to Day 4 of the 2020 Cat Lovers Hop! I hope you are hopping with us and enjoying the adorable cat creations that are being linked up! If not, you're missing out! If you like cats, then head over and get hopping!
All week I've been sharing some retro-style, cat-themed items that I've created for my journals. Today I present a set of 9 altered (or hidden) paper clips. I've been saying it all week, but I just love these old-fashioned kitties!
Here are the backs, showing the paper clips:
- Clipart: Cats (The Digital Chick on Etsy), butterflies (Mein Lila Park), flowers, heart, tab (Vintage Glam Studio)
- Punches: Recollections Small Butterfly, Recollections Small Flower
- Patterned paper: Crate Paper (scraps)
- Sentiments: Self-made in Microsoft Word
- Other: Tickets (dollar store), rikrak (thrift store), lace trim (thrift store), pompom trim (Walmart), paper clips (Dollarama), flat-backed gems (old stash)
These clips measure 2" x 2.5" so their small size is a purr-fect opportunity to use up scraps of patterned paper and cardstock, which is exactly what I did! Ergo I'm linking up to Pixie's Snippet Playground, where snippets (aka scraps) are always the challenge.

Im so drawn to these little retro kitties! Each time I come here I'm reminded (I know I've said it before) of birthday cards I got when I was a child because I loved cats so much back then too. Love that they are clipped and love the trim on the bottom! Gorgeous idea! Happy hopping with Cat Lovers

I always love a project that uses bits and bobs, and snippets of paper. These would be so cute in a journal or planner..and the vintage kitties are adorable. I love that you also used lace and rick-rack trim, in addition to your snippets.
