Wise Words Bring Healing

Hello, everyone!  Before I get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Kathleen - thank you for joining me!  This is my first time using New Blogger - I could no longer find "Revert to Legacy Blogger" (insert sad face).

Today I'm sharing an encouragement card featuring a kitty and one of my favourite scriptures (Proverbs 12:18, NCV).

For the patterned paper background, I chose to use a journal card (Pixel Scrapper) and digitally added the scripture.  I die-cut the background with a stitched rectangle (Gina Marie Designs).  I stamped the kitty (Fiskars) and fussy-cut so I could pop him up on foam tape.  I added a punched heart to the banner at the top.

I love this bible verse. A cute card and a cute kitty.

I don't much care for the new blogger. I'm still having some issues. And all of this re=directing us. I don't get it. [Bunny]

What a clever way of using digi papers, KT! I especially like the purple digi sentiment and purple heart. You did well on your blog post - it looks just like your Legacy Blogger posts, so you did something right! LOL It does take longer, especially with the photos. hugs, de

Hi Kitty! What a great card. I love that multicolored and patterned background! And your kitty is adorable. How true is that sentiment. So glad to see your post. We had a couple days away and there weren't too many people at the park campground. That's why we like to go during the week and never on the weekend. Since the twins are back to Head Start we prefer to be home on the weekend because that's when we can see them. Hope all is well with you. You will get used to the new blogger. It has some odd things but I get more comfortable with it each time I use it. Take care! Big hugs!

Very cute! Fun background and a great Scripture verse!! It's a good reminder to use our words carefully. I didn't like the new blogger while they were previewing it, but now that it is up and running, I think it works pretty well. There are definitely some things I don't like as much yet, but I think they keep fixing issues constantly and maybe those will be addressed soon. There are also some features that make it easier, so hopefully, soon, it will have the best of all the features! Anyway, Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
