For this card, I recycled a retail Christmas card that I received several years ago. It was too cute not to give it another life! The snowman is actually on the inside of the card, with a circular aperture on the front. I added a die-cut and stamped sentiment in red on the front (Simon Says Stamp Sending die and Your Next Stamp Waddles Winter Happiness).
I finished the inside of the card as well. I die-cut the snowman with a circle, stamped:a sentiment in red (Your Next Stamp Winter Wishes - retired), and added two strips of coordinating patterned paper.
Inside of Card |
- Christmas Kickstart 18 Get a Head-er Start (inspiration from challenge blog header shown below - I was inspired by the snowman and how he had his arms in the air, as well as his attire) 1/3 C8
- Crafter's Castle 20 AG Optional Any Occasion 1/3 C10
- Double Trouble 36 Thing 1 - Round and Round (circles on front and inside) 1/4
- Rudolph Day August 1E C10
- Simon Says Stamp Monday S is for... Snowman 2/5
- Simon Says Stamp Wednesday AG 2/5
- Word Art Wednesday 402-403 AG 2/5 wk1
Thank you for looking at my card! Wishing you a joyful day!

I can certainly see why you opted to recycle this card as it's lovely! Thanks for playing at The CHristmas Kickstart Challenge again, Jo x
I love how you recycle and having been using them for the Rudolph Day's Challenges. It's a shame to waste such pretty cards. It's nice to give them new life.
Great way to up cycle a card. I'm going to start saving mine so I can do this and give them an extra life. Who knows, someone might just give them a 3rd life. It's really cute. [Bunny]
So worth the time to recycle this gorgeous card.

Love me a snowman - not the piles of snow and bitter winter but lovely soft snow and a snowman! Just saying - and your snowman creation is fab - great recycling! Have a blessed day!
You are so good at updating and recycling cards Kitty. This snowman is just adorable. And you are so creative.
Great upcycling, Kitty!!! Well done! The snowman is really too cute to waste it!! Loving the idea to put it in a circle inside and cut the aperture on the front! How sweet colours!! Love the "Sending" sentiment outside, how lovely!! Beautiful finish on the inside of the card, it's a thing that usually I don't make, but it looks very professional! I have always to learn by you! :)
Hugs!!
I agree it's much too cute of a snowman not to upcycle him. I love the design with the image on the inside and peeking out of the circle. Fabulous job.
