Bookshelf Kitty

Hello, everyone!  Before I get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower -
Le Ghirlande - thank you for joining me!

Today I'm sharing a card I made with Gerda Steiner's Cat in Bookshelf. I received this image for free because I participated in last month's challenge. This is a progressive challenge, so if you play along this month, you will receive a new, free image for April. Yay!  It is fun and exciting to receive a new cute image every month, and I always look forward to it! Thank you, Gerda! Here's a link to Gerda's March challenge!

I coloured the kitty to look like our Snowie!  The heart buttons and love word were left-overs from my heart-themed cards/ATCs last month so I'll be joining the Snippet Playground!

I would like to support the following challenges: Cardz TV 37 AG 1/3; Crafting Circle Crafty Awesomeness March 1/3; Crafty Creations AG 1/2; Crafty Gals Corner AG 1/2; Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper March UE; Cupcake Inspirations Pets 1/3; Cute Card Thursday Anything Goes UE; DL.ART March Linky AG 1/d; Jo's Scrap Shack AG 1/3; Lil Patch of Crafty Friends AG 1/3; Love to Scrap AG 1/5; Pixie's Snippet Playground Week 321 1E; Show Us Your Pussies Cats Only Furrything Goes UE; Simon Says Stamp Happy National Craft Month UE and on Facebook; Simon Says Stamp Wednesday AG 1/5; The Corrosive March AG 1/3; 2 Crafty Critter Crazies AG Animals 1/5; Word Art Wednesday 324-325 AG w Uplifting Sentiment Wk1 1/5

Lovely card. Thank you for your comments on my journal page. Joining the More Mixed Media design team gave me the incentive to make my journal pages. I had never done mixed media before. I have finished two journals so far. I started making the first one to leave for my grand daughters but then I decided to make one for each of them. I have finished two so far and given them to my second and third grand daughters. Some pages are mixed media and some digital. I filled them with encouraging verses to try to help them with their anxiety. I am now making one each for my eldest and youngest grand daughters. I love all your cats. Have a good day.

Hi Kitty, how delightful card! Your scene looks so sweet and cue with that little kitten sleeping between the books!! He remember me your Snowy for the color :D but also my Dory, that love making snaps on my school books! :D Great design and sentiment! Love the warm feel given by the wooden look of the paper! Well done!

What a fantastic scene Kitty, I like how you color cats to look like your cats. This card should be framed.

I love what you did with the background on the bookshelf. I've colored mine, but the background seems so white. I think I might have to CASE this idea. As always, a beautiful card.

Delightful look of a shadowbox with this cute stamp. The kitty looks very relaxed napping among the books, and I love the bright heart button stamps as embellies. This also has a nice look of a quilt about it too! TFS
