Teapot ATC - Take a Break

Hi, everybody! Today I'm sharing another ATC! I do enjoy making ATCs, and this one features a teapot! My crafty friend Janis at Her Peaceful Garden is having an ATC party this month, with weekly themes. This week's theme is Teapots!

Janis has an awesome collection of teapots! You will want to head over and take a look at her photos and then be inspired to make an ATC! For those who are new to ATCs, or Artist Trading Cards, they measure 3.5" x 2.5" and the small size makes them super fun to make! I usually send mine to my crafty friends with happy mail or make them into a pocket letter, also to share with crafty friends.

  • Stamps: Sentiment (generic planner stamps)
  • Dies: Spellbinders Lacey Circles, Gina Marie Designs 10-pce Greenery and Flowers, generic doily
  • Paper: Patterned paper (Lots of Flowers Paper Pack), Recollections cardstock
  • Other:  Puffy Teapot Sticker, butterfly punch, various flower punches, gems - all from my stash

My ATC design was inspired by Tuesday Morning Sketches 441:

I was also inspired by Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge.  I haven't played there in a while but she has a new "Spin the Wheel" format that I like very much!  This week it's the letter P!  I've got Pink, Purple, and Patterned Paper and, of course, a butterfly!  Here's the inspiration wheel:

I would also like to share the back of my ATC, which I created using Microsoft Word.  It will be on its way to Janis as soon as her ATC celebration has concluded:

  • Die: Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers

I was inspired by Janis's teapot collection and decided to share my own.  It's not much of a collection as I have only two items:  a little teapot clock, which was a gift from Brian's Mom (may she rest in peace), and a Calico Kittens tea party figurine that I found at the thrift store.  Here they are with the ATC, which shows the small size of the items:

I would also like to support these challenges:  A Gem of a Challenge Spring Flowers UE; Crafting By Designs Friendship (this ATC is being mailed to my friend Janis at the end of her celebration) 2/3; Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper February UE; DL.ART February Linky AG 1/d; Happy Little Stampers - February ATC Challenge Hearts UE (see teapot); Penny's Paper-crafty AG 1/3; The Rubber Buggy Mood Board (I was inspired by the colours in the bottom section) UE; Three Amigos Blog Hop Nom, Nom (one of my favourite drinks is Chocolatey Chai Herbal Tea) UE; Word Art Wednesday 322-323 AG w Uplifting Sentiment Wk2 2/5

Thank you for looking at my ATC! Wishing you a joyful day!

Kitty, this is another sweet ATC. Love your picture. Today it was 31 and I was able to get out for a walk, but we are suppose to have freezing rain or wet snow tonight.

Hello Kitty, It's so nice to see you playing again. Your little ATC is certainly packed with embellishments. I love it. I used to have a huge collection of teapots but when I had a new kitchen I had to get rid of the shelving they were on so I down sized and only kept 10 of the best ones. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me this week. Hugs Mrs A.

What a beautiful teapot clock....I think I had one of these once. It looks so familiar. It might have broken or maybe is in a box. It is so lovely. That is a really sweet kitten tea party figurine, too. Thank you for sharing those with us.

I love this wonderful teapot ATC!! Lovely use of the Butterfly Challenge elements with the puffy stickers....just so pretty and charming.

Thank you so much for joining in my ATC Birthday Party!!!
