You're Tea-rrific

Hi, everyone!  Before I share my card, I would like to welcome two lovely new followers - Terri Burson and neve4everr - sorry I couldn't link to your blog. Blogger isn't cooperating but if you would like to leave a comment, I will add your blog link - thank you so much for joining me!

Today is Day 2 of the Summer Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop. Why don't you join us! Just link up a newly created summer-themed coffee, tea, or cocoa project. The linky is open until 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, June 12. Hope to see you there!

I went with a tea-themed card again!  I created a splattered background using Black Soot Distress Ink and added strips of washi tape on a diagonal.  I die cut the tea pot in black (Top Dog Dies Teatime Decorative Die Set) and affixed it along the washi tape.  I added three gold hearts as if they're being poured from the pot.

The fun sentiment is from The Greeting Farm Tea-riffic Clear Stamps and I heat-embossed it in gold on a black scrap.  The colour combo is based on the inspiration graphics at Cupcake Inspirations and ShowCASe Your Style:

I would also like to support these fun challenges:   Artistic Inspirations Die Cuts UE; Beccy's Place June AG UE; Craft Your Passion AG 3/3; Crafting by Designs June AG 3/3; Crafting from the Heart AG 3/3; Creative Ladybirds AG 3/3; DL.ART June Linky AG 1/day; Inspiration Destination AG UE; Ladybug Crafts Use Your Dies 3/3; Loves Rubberstamps AG UE; Not Just Cards AG UE; One Sweet Challenge Die Cuts and/or Punches UE; Paper Creator's Crafts AG 3/3; Papertake Weekly AG 3/5; Penny's Paper-Crafty AG 3/3; Quick Creations June AG UE; Sentimental Sundays Coffee, Tea, Mocha 3/3; Sister Act (Cards Only) AG UE; V's Sweet Ideas Favourite Technique (using die cuts) 2/2; Word Art Wednesday AG w Uplifting Sentiment 3/5; Your Scrapbook Place June AG 3/3

Fabulous card, like that die and how you angled it on that neat washi tape.I've been meaning to send you directions for my flowers. Cut three circles, slightly different in size by hand or use die cuts from used dryer sheets. Put on waxed paper or a craft sheet and spritz with glimmer mist, walnut ink or stain spray of choice. Wait patiently for it to dry or dab with a paper towel to speed up the process. Edge each one with gold glitter glue. Let dry. Stack small to large. Place a brad in the center. Tada! These were fun to make and I tried ink pads too and that worked. Enjoy. Hugs, Donna
