Hello, everybody! Today I'm sharing another card I made with inspiration from Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards. You will see the photo and link to Beccy's challenge on my right-hand sidebar all month so I hope you'll join the fun! It's an alphabet challenge so I went with N for non-traditional colours.
Again I've used a kitty from one of Beccy's newer digitals called Christmas Kitties. This is my favorite kitty in the set as she reminds me of our Snowie. I coloured her with markers to look like Snowie, and the ornament pink to match, and then fussy-cut. My inky background was originally destined for another card but it didn't work out; it was in my "waiting to be used" box, made a long time ago with either Distress Inks or Distress Oxides, mostly likely with the ink-smooshing technique.
My card design was inspired by
Sweet Sketch Wednesday November Sketch 241 and I rotated it 2x clockwise. I don't make square cards so I hope my A2 card is okay.
I die-cut the stitched oval (My Creative Time) from a white panel and then die-cut again with a stitched rectangle (Gina Marie Designs). The pink die-cut corners (LaLa Land Crafts) were left over from a project from a long time ago, so I found a scrap of the same pink cardstock to die-cut the bow (Poppystamps):
I added pink gems to the corner elements according to the sketch, as well as a larger pink gem to the center of the bow. To finish the card, I stamped a small sentiment (Simon Says Stamp) next to the cat.
I was also inspired by the following 8 challenges, for a total of 10:
Thank you for looking at my card! Wishing you a peaceful day!
