Possibili-Tea

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card for the August Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz.  Because I participated last month, I received this month's image for free:  It's Tea Time from The Paper Shelter (thank you!).

For this card I used the precoloured version.  I fussy-cut the image and added Glossy Accents to the clocks, cup, and goggles.  I adhered the image to the background provided using foam tape and then adhered the background to a lace border and then to an embossed panel.  I printed a digital sentment on kraft cardstock and die-cut with a stitched tag, tied with baker's twine. For a close-up, see photo below. I punched two sizes of butterflies and added gems to the bodies.  I finished off the card by adding gems to the four corners of the background.

Digital image and background:  The Paper Shelter - It's Tea Time
Digital sentiment:  My Paper Crafting
DiesSTAMPlorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies, Die-Versions Whispers Lacey Dots border
Embossing folder:  Tim Holtz Sizzix Bingo
Punches: Recollections Butterflies
Other:  Baker's twine (American Crafts). Glossy Accents, gems

I was inspired by the following 10 challenges:

Gorgeous card Kitty! I love the colours you've used and the embossing and die cut edging. That sentiment goes perfectly with the image. I'm looking forward to what next month's image brings!

Kitty, this is lovely! Love the blue with the browns. Really striking color combination! And I love the pre-colored version of this stamp. Your sentiment is perfect to go with this image! Glad to see you creating again. I missed your cards! Take care!

That's a beautiful card, love how you placed sentiment on a tag. Love the convenience of pre colored digis, though I haven't tried them myself.

Hi, Kitty, what a lovely surprise to get your comment on my blog, thank you so, so, so much for that, you have made my day!!!!!!!! We are all well, but things in our country are not what we would like it to be and, yes, the farm murders are very, very upsetting and all is not published so the situation is worse than what it might seem to the rest of the world!!!!!! Our government is so corrupt and not fit to run the country, they have really done bad over the last 26 years since they have taken over and a lot is to be said about the way they get away with what they are doing!!!!!! People get away with things for which they should be in jail and a lot of criminals are walking free and don't have any fear for the police!!!!!! Over here we feel that criminals have more rights than we who obey the laws!!!!! In George we are really lucky to have a very peaceful town where things are going well, in the bigger cities things are worse. We do not know what the future holds and the next election might turn things around very much!!!!!! The ANC gouvernment is doing so poorly, hopefully people who voted for them in the past will realize that they will have to move away from them and vote for someone else, the problem is just that some of the other parties are even worse than the ANC!!!!!! It is so sad to see what the country was like when the ANC took over in 1994, compared to what we have today, the ANC has ruined about everything!!!!!!
And as for our little darling, Timmy, he is still fine, but also getting older now, he will be 16 years old in Oct!!!!!!! He is so spoiled, but he brings us so much joy!!!!!! So happy to hear that your three babies are also OK, but it's so sad to see them getting old and having health issues, hey. Give each of them a great big hug from me!!!!!!
So nice chatting to you Kitty, it was so nice of you to pop in, I really appreciate that!!!!!
Keep well!!!!!
