Coffee... Right Meow!

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for a friend who loves coffee!  This fun kitty loves coffee but her cup is empty!  She needs coffee... right meow!

I used several stamps and dies from Your Next Stamp!  The kitty and sentiment are from Coffee Right Meow; the cups are from Warm Christmas Wishes (stamps and dies); the smiley faces on the cups are from Fun Faces; and the wonky rectangle die-cut is Party Window Die Set.

My card began with a Distress Oxide background in pinks and reds and another Distress Oxide background in yellows, oranges, and pinks. I used the watercolour ink-smooshng technique for both. I stamped the cups and faces on the yellow background and then fussy-cut them close to the image.  I die-cut the cups in white and then adhered the fussy-cut cups so they would have a white border.

I die-cut the Party Window from the pink panel, hand-cut a wonky frame in black and adhered on the reverse side, and then adhered the pink panel to the yellow panel.  I coloured the kitty with markers and fussy-cut so I could pop her up on foam tape. Lastly I stamped the fun sentiment and adhered three punched hearts.  This card makes me smile, and I hope it will make my friend smile!  Poor kitty wants coffee immediately and it seems the empty cups are smiling and laughing about it!
