Snow Fun Day

Hi, everyone!  I'm back today with one more card to share, but it's not a coffee theme!  It's a holiday card!  I try to make two a month but I have been slipping.  Thankfully there's Rudolph Day to help get me back on track!

I've been hoarding the Carta Bella Snow Fun Collection kit that I won from Chriss at Scrappin' with Chriss and Lou (thank you!) but it is time to start playing with it.  I used a journal card and two of the stickers so there is still lots of kit left!  I added a stitched snowy landscape border (Poppystamps), a poinsettia digital ephemera (Far Far Hill), some metallic red striped washi tape, and three snowflake sequins. I added Platinum Stickles to the poinsettia center.

The UnstampaBelles is having a 1, 2, and 3 items challenge and they have asked us to journal about it. I decided to do multiples of each requirement:

One item - I have used one journal card, one die cut, and one digital ephemera
Two items - I used two stickers and two strips of washi tape
Three items - There are three children in the focal point image, three words in the title,  and I added three snowflake sequins
And... there is no stamping on this project.

I Need Coffee Right Meeoww!!

Hi, everyone!  Here I am with another coffee-themed project for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This card measures 4" x 6" so it's is a bit bigger than the standard A2 size.

The sleepy kitty was a freebie from Far Far Hill at one point; the roses were a recent freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables; and the fun sentiment is from CapZone The Purrfect Coffee (not a freebie, but very reasonably priced). I fussy-cut the roses and added Diamond Stickles. I die-cut the kitty and sentiment with a lacy square. A white crepe-paper strip was added down the left side, and the card panel was embossed with roses (Cuttlebug Once Upon a Princess). I finished off the card with a punched butterfly, gem, and a number of pink pearls.

Coffee Cats - Pocket Letter with Tag

Hello, everybody! It's Day 5 of the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Anyone can join the fun, so I hope you head over and check it out.  There's still plenty of time - the hop is open until Friday.  I have a few coffee-themed projects to share today so I'll show them in separate blog posts.

I've been building up to it for the past few days, and today I'm finally sharing my pocket letter!  If you haven't already guessed by now, the theme is Coffee Cats! In the back of the pockets I included lots of goodies for my swap partner - it is my first time swapping!

Since I've already shared the ATCs individually, today I'll feature the tag.

The adorable Coffee Cat digi is from Gerda Steiner Designs.  I coloured it with Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and popped up with foam tape.  The tag die is from My Creative Time; the coffee word die is from Your Next Stamp; and I used an alphabet die set to spell out cats.  The tag was accented with a punched butterfly and gem from my stash.

ATC - I Love your Mug

Hi, everyone!  I'm sneaking in one more project tonight for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  It's another ATC, or artist trading card, measuring 2.5" x 3.5".  I will be  putting together nine ATCs to make a pocket letter, which I plan to share tomorrow!  If you're curious about ATCs, you can read more about them here. I've added a kitty face (Spellbinders Kitty Play) to this cup to make it even cuter!  I die-cut the cup four times in different patterned papers and then pieced them together.  The sentiment says "I love your mug," and is from Craftin Desert Divas Coffee Break. The Yum sentiment stamp is from a planner set. I added a few punched hearts and some flower gems from my old stash.

This kitty doesn't know what to think about his oversized cup of coffee, but the cup seems happy about it!  I received some of these die-cuts in friend mail so I don't know the brands.  I know the flower is from MFT Stitched Flowers and the center is a tiny punch.  The sentiment is from Poppystamps Bunny Tea Time.

You're Sweet Cup Kitty

Hi, everyone! Here I am with another coffee-themed project for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This card is a bit bigger than the standard A2 size, measuring 4" x 6" - I sized it to fit some envelopes I found in my stash. I made several cards of this size so I'll be sharing more of them this week.

The cup kitty image was a recent freebie from Design Bundles, and the flowers were a recent freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables. I fussy-cut both and adhered them to a doily die. I made a gathered crepe paper strip and adhered it to the patterned paper, which is from Doodlebug Cream and Sugar. The sentiment is from the same collection. I finished off my card with a punched butterfly and gem from my stash.

ATC - Sip Yawn Repeat

I made another ATC, or artist trading card, measuring 2.5" x 3.5". ATCs are great to include in happy mail, and I also enjoy putting together nine of them to make a pocket letter. The kitty die is from Frantic Stamper, and the pierced frame was made from Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers. The sentiment stamp is from Newton's Nook.  I created the watercolour background with the ink smooshing technique using Distress Inks (Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry). I also used a coffee cup sticker, butterfly punch, gem, and a scrap of patterned paper from my stash.

ATC - Whole Latte Love

This cute kitty digital image is from Far Far Hill, which I printed on photo paper, fussy-cut and popped up on foam tape. I created the watercolour background with the ink smooshing technique using Spun Sugar Distress Ink. Cat Coffee Mug

Hi, everyone! Here I am with another coffee-themed project for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This card is not a standard A2 size but a bit larger, measuring 4" x 6" - I sized it to fit some envelopes I found in my stash. I made several cards of this size so I'll be sharing more of them this week.

As soon as I saw this adorable new Cat Coffee Mug digi from Craftin Desert Divas, I knew I had to have it!  I added a little punched heart and some Xmas Red Stickles to her bow and a steam die-cut from Cottage Cutz.  The patterned paper is from the Doodlebug Cream and Sugar collection, as well as the sentiment, spoon, and coffee beans!  I also used doily dies, butterfly punch, and gem from my stash. I added clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the spoon.

ATC - Hug in a Mug

Hi, everyone! As promised, I'm back with another coffee-themed project for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

I made another ATC, or artist trading card, measuring 2.5" x 3.5". ATCs are great to include in happy mail, and I also enjoy putting together nine of them to make a pocket letter. The kitty die is from Paper Smooches, and the tiny stitched tag die is from La-La Land.  The Hug in a Mug sentiment stamp is from Newton's Nook, and the coffee word and cup are stamps from Moodtape.  I used some leftover patterned paper snippets - ATC's are great for using up small bits of snippets!  In fact, the cat, coffee cup, and tag were also stamped on or die-cut from snippets!  I finished off my ATC with a punched bow and gem adhered to the tiny tag.

I stamped an adorable wood-mounted rubber stamp from Penny Black called Brimming with Love, coloured with watercolour markers, fussy-cut and popped up with foam tape. The sentiments are from a set of planner stamps. I used patterned paper from my stash and added some punched flowers, a butterfly, and some tiny gems.

ATC - Love You a Latte

Hello, everybody! It's Day 2 of the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I will have a few coffee-themed projects to share today!  I'll share them in separate blog posts.

The first is an ATC, or artist trading card, measuring 2.5" x 3.5". ATCs are great to include in happy mail, and I also enjoy putting together nine of them to make a pocket letter.  If all goes well, then I should be able to share a completed coffee-themed pocket letter before the hop is over!  If you're curious about ATCs, you can read more about them here.

The stamp I used is a wood-mounted rubber stamp from Craftsmart which I received in a prize (thank you, Christina!). The sentiment and coffee cup are both on the same stamp.  I stamped on different scraps of cardstock for a colour-blocking style.  I doodled some faux stitching around the sentiment and added some punched flowers, a tiny punched kitty, two die-cut leaves, and a tiny gem.

Have a Brew-tiful Day

Hi, everyone!  I'm back again today with another card for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  It's one of my favourite blog hops and anyone can join!  I'll be sharing coffee- and tea-themed projects all week so stay tuned!

I went with pastel colours for a spring vibe.  I used some cute stamps from Craftin Desert Divas Coffee Break and stamped them in pastel colours inside some wonky frame die-cuts.  I created the Brew-tiful Day sentiment in Word and finished off the card with lots of clear sequins.

Pastel Coffee Cups

Hello, everybody!  Today is the start of one of my favourite blog hops - the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Yay!  I'll be sharing coffee- and tea-themed projects all week so stay tuned!

I went with pastel colours for a spring vibe.  I die-cut a number of coffee cups and hearts using dies from my stash and then arranged them on the front of my card.  Happily I was able to use a lot of my snippets/scraps!  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Hug in a Mug and I heat-embossed it in white on a vellum scrap.

Floral Pop-up Box Card

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a pop-up box card full of flowers that I made for my Mom. I love how it turned out! Hoping she will love it too!

I used a bunch of 3D flower stickers in my stash that I thought would be pretty popping out of a box. I added some tall grass and butterflies, along with a tiny stitched sentiment tag tied with baker's twine.
