Gingerbread House Stair-Step Easel Card (VOSP Day 1)

Hello, everyone!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Visions of Sugar Plums blog hop! You are in for a real treat! If you are looking for ideas and inspiration for your Christmas and winter projects, then you have come to the right place!  There are prizes too!  Keep reading to find out how you can win!

My Project
Today I am sharing a stair-step easel card!  I'm so happy with how it turned out! I don't often make a fancy fold, so this was a lot of fun!  I found a tutorial showing how to make a stair-step fold card, and to this I added the easel. I dug through my stash and decided to use stamps and dies from Your Next Stamp.  They are a Canadian company so I love to support them!  I received these stamps and dies from Brian for Christmas two years ago! I've only used them a few times, so I decided to dust them off for the hop and make a fun gingerbread house card!

Here's a sideview:

I photographed each panel before adhering them to the card base so you can see all the details and products used!

Back panel:
Back Panel

Middle panel:

Front panel:

Base/Inside:

The base isn't visible in the photos so I wanted to make sure I shared how I finished the inside of the card!

My colour combo was inspired by Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #53:

Blog Hop
My blog is the LAST stop of the blog hop, so please follow this order:

Lori Hairston (Host)
KT Fit Kitty (you are here)

Prizes

Thank you to our generous sponsors:
Birch Press Design: $20 gift certificate
Lawn Fawn: $25 gift certificate
Paper Sweeties: $25 gift certificate
Pretty Pink Posh: $25 gift certificate
The Cutting Café : Orange You Cute Kit
The Funkie Junkie Boutique: $25 worth of new Tim Holtz Christmas Idea-ology Products
The Twinery: Sample Pack

How do you win the prizes? Easy! Comment, comment, comment! Comment here on my blog and then comment on all the other stops on the hop. For every comment you make during Visions of Sugar Plums, your name will be added for a chance to win one of our prizes. The more blogs on which you comment, the better your chances! Only one comment per blog please. All winners will be chosen randomly and announced by Lori Hairston of Chouxchoux Paper Art, our hop host, so please make sure you comment on her blog too! Tell her that Kitty sent you!

Challenge
Lori is also hosting a Visions of Sugar Plums Challenge, to which I will be linking my project! The theme is Christmas/winter, and the linky is open now, until Saturday, December 17.

The prize for the VOSP challenge is a $25 gift certificate to Freckled Fawn. Winner is chosen through random selection by InLinkz.

Here's one last look at my stair-step easel card!  I stepped away for a moment and Eli the elf decided to come out of hiding!  I had a funny feeling I would be seeing him soon!  I guess he wants to join the 4th Annual Elf Antics Linky at DL.ART!

Whoa! KT, you have outdone yourself! Beautifully designed and executed! I love the happy colors in this magnificent and darling village, and all the details! Thanks for photographing each panel before adhering them, and showing so many angles. I especially like the wavy/corrugated trees as a theme throughout all the panels, and how each tree is decorated with assorted sparklies. Fabulous project! And lovely piece of holiday decor to be cherished for years to come! XOXO
