(If you are looking for my Visions of Sugar Plums Blog Hop projects,
Hello, everyone! I am excited to announce that I'm a Guest Designer at Connie Can Crop this month! Thank you to Connie for inviting me!
Here's a direct link to the December challenge, where you will find the link-up, challenge rules, and prize to be won!
For my project, I made a set of four winter cards! Scene cards are my favourite type of card to make! I included a snowman, snow, and snowflakes on each one! A sweet friend recently gave me these cute chipboard snowmen, as well as the patterned paper, and I couldn't wait to use them! I knew they would be perfect for my winter scenes!
Each card is different but I followed the same basic design. I die-cut a snowy landscape and added Stickles for some sparkle. I used the snowy patterned paper for the sky, added a chipboard snowman, and stamped a sentiment in a coordinating ink. The little scenes are mounted on cardstock and then adhered to a snowflake-embossed card front. I finished off each card with a different embellishment: snowflake sequins, regular sequins, pearl snowflakes, and a snowman charm with ribbon.
These same products were used on all cards:
- Embossing folder: Die'sire Embossalicious Let it Snow
- Patterned paper and chipboard snowmen: Gift from my friend Debi B (thank you!)
- Other: Diamond Stickles
Here is a close-up of each card, along with the additional products used.
Card 1 - Skating Snowman
- Stamp: Sentiment (Your Next Stamp Waddles Winter Happiness)
- Ink: Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy
- Die: Pierced Landscape (unmarked die from China)
- Other: Snowflake sequins from my Dollarama stash
Card 2 - Sledding Snowman
- Stamp: Sentiment (Your Next Stamp Waddles Winter Happiness)
- Ink: Stampin' Up Night of Navy
- Die: Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders
- Other: Pearl snowflakes from my stash
Card 3 - Broom Snowman
- Stamp: Sentiment (Unity Stamps May Your Days be Merry and Bright)
- Ink: StazOn Forest Green
- Die: Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes
- Other: Ribbon (Darice), snowflake charm from my stash
Card 4 - Snowman Saucer
- Stamp: Sentiment (unmarked clear stamp set from China)
- Ink: Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy
- Die: Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders
- Other: Sequins from my stash
Thank you for looking at my cards! Wishing you a joyful day!

Fabulous cards, Kitty! I had those snowmen and papers for a few years and they never inspired me. Had a feeling you'd find the perfect way to use them. And you certainly did!!! (Scenes are my least favorite card to make.)
