Teapot Bouquet Birthday

Hello, everyone!  I'm back again today with another card!  Before I share it, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Jeanne Henson - thank you for joining me!

Today I made a birthday card! I found a new-to-me artist - Jennifer Nilsson Art Digital Designs - and she has some very cute designs! Jennifer is having her first challenge, so you will want to head over and check it out!  The theme is Celebration!  She has a Facebook Group and has offered some freebies there for members so I hope you'll check that out as well! My card features one of her adorable freebies called Teapot Bouquet, and I coloured it with Prismacolor pencils and doodled some dots around the die-cut circle.

I followed the sketch over at the DCWV August Stack-a-holic Challenge. I used the DCWV Vintage Collector stack - I love these gorgeous papers!  I'm not sure if the photo shows it, but these papers are loaded with sparkle!

My colour combo, flowers, and birthday theme were inspired by the Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge - August 2016 (shown below).  I used Paper Sweeties Raspberry flower-shaped sequins to embellish my card.

Here are the dies used on my card: Nellie's Multiframe Circles, Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Nested Circles, Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Borders, All Occasion Dies Happy Birthday, Cheery Lynn Mini Dimensional Butterflies.

I would like to support the following challenges: Allsorts Use at Least 2 Dies 3/3; Craft Your Passion AG 2/3; Crafting from the Heart AG 2/3; Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper August UE; Die Cuttin Divas AG 1/3;Fab n Funky AG UE; Happy Little Stampers AG w Dies UE; Inspiration Destination AG UE; Just Keep On Creating AG UE; Love to Scrap No Rulz 2 Challenge and Blog Hop UE; Not Just Cards August AG UE; Pile it On Die-cut Embellishments UE; Simon Says Stamp Monday It's a Stitch-up (faux stitching on dies) 1/5; Simply Papercraft AG 2/3; The Outlawz Saturday PAM AG 1E; Through the Craftroom Door AG 2/2; Word Art Wednesday AG w Uplifting Sentiment 5/5 wk2

Just seen your comment Kitty (thank you) and had to pop over to say I am so sorry to hear that news about hubby, mine started exactly the same and they thought it was a stroke. That was almost 30 years ago and although that side of me has always been weaker, I've been lucky and slow progressive. Had a few relapses but this one is by far the worse but guess I am lucky to go so long doing most of what I want within reasonable common sense (that bit's hard to accept at times).

It's inability to craft that's really getting to me this time and typing which is taking forever, but there always those far worse off and I am sure it will improve with time - patience is what the doctor always tells me I lack.

A lovely card by the way, thanks for sharing at Allsorts.
