Meowy Mousemas - Hot Cocoa Pocket

Hello, everyone!  Welcome to Day 4 of the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! We would love to see you over there with your winter/holiday projects using images of coffee, tea, or cocoa! The hop runs from December 11 to 18 and anyone can join!

Today I am sharing another hot cocoa pocket!  Yes, I've made quite a few of these! This was the first one I made and it's a bit different than the other ones I've shared.

I used an adorable image from Imagine That... Digis by Kris called Meowy Mousemas. I used the pre-coloured image because it already looks so cute!  I die-cut the image with a stitched oval (Lawn Fawn Stitched Oval Stackables) and inked around the edges with a red ink pad.  The patterned paper is from MAMBI and I inked it with Broken China Distress Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from Poppystamps You Melt My Heart. Behind the image I added some gorgeous red Christmas ribbon. Inside the pocket is a packet of hot cocoa and a candy cane.

For those following the adventures of my elf Eli, today I found him trying to make friends with my cat Snowie.  She's doing a lot of sniffing, but in the end, a friendship was not formed.  Eli had limited success trying to buddy up to my cat Kiwi here, but there is still one more cat that Eli will try to befriend, and that's Honeydew, so stay tuned!  Eli is linking up over at DL.ART's Third Annual Elf Antics Linky! If you have a little elf, you will want to join Eli and his friends, Arci, Ron, Daisy, Elizabeth, Loopy, Elfin, and Hope, in their funny elf antics!

I would also like the join the following challenges:  Beccy's Place AG UE;  Cardz TV Christmas Giftbag or Box 1/3; Choux Choux Paper Art Christmas Winter UE; Come and Get It Christmas Anything But a Card 1/3; Craft Your Passion AG 1/3; Craftin Desert Divas Christmas Linky UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Christmas UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra December UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper December UE; Crop Stop Linky #11 Distress Ink can be bought at Crop Stop here 1/5; Cupcake Inspirations Sky, White, Poppy 1/3;  DL.ART December Linky UE 1/day; Dragonfly Dreams It's Christmas UE; Fussy and Fancy Happy Holidays UE;  Glitter n Sparkle Traditional or Non-traditional Colours 3/3; Imagine That... Wow is Eli brave to make friends with your cats! My Loopy doesn't want anything to do with animals, except for stuffed ones. My mom, who adopted our dog Toby, brings Toby over every other week and he tried to grab Loopy and run through the house with her. So she is NOT interested in being anywhere near dogs or cats! Your cocoa pouches are so cute and fun that I picked up a box of cocoa packets today and am going to try my hand at some of these pouch cards myself!
