Cup Kitty - Hot Cocoa Pouch Card

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to Day 1 of the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! The hop runs through December 18, and anyone can join!  We are focusing on winter/holiday projects, with images of coffee, tea, or cocoa. It's a blog hop so commenting is encouraged and much appreciated!

I am back to share another hot cocoa pouch card.  It looks like a card on the outside but when you open it up, there's a package of hot cocoa and a candy cane!

I just couldn't resist this adorable image from Sami Stamps called Cup Kitty 2. I coloured the kitty with Prismacolor pencils and paper-pieced the cup with patterned paper from K and Company. Then I fussy-cut the image so I could pop it up with foam tape. I added a die-cut snowflake from Impression Obsession to the cup. 

The silver glitter paper is added at an angle and I stamped the sentiments from Sugar Pea Designs - Sweet Treats repeatedly along the glitter paper.  The panel is die-cut with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles and I layered it on black, patterned paper, and black. To finish off the front, I adhered some puffy candy stickers and a few red sequins.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from MFT - Hug in a Mug in red and added a holographic red snowflake.  The top edge is decorated with red and sparkly silver washi tape.
