Cottontail - Hot Cocoa Pouch Card

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to Day 3 of the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This is my second post today!  The hop runs from December 11 to 18 and anyone can join! We are focusing on winter/holiday projects, with images of coffee, tea, or cocoa.

In celebration of National Cocoa Day, I am sharing another hot cocoa pouch card. It looks like a card on the outside but when you open it up, there's a package of hot cocoa and a candy cane!

The image is from Your Next Stamp - Sprinkles Coffee and Tea. I coloured it with watercolour markers, drew some snowflakes on the cup with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating die.  I affixed it to a stitched vellum circle (Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles).  The sentiment is from MFT - Hug in a Mug and I heat embossed it in white on a caramel scrap.  The background is embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes and then sanded to reveal the white core. I added a strip of teal cardstock and some washi tape along the right edge.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from MFT - Hug in a Mug with Simon Says Stamp - High Dive ink. The little mug is from MFT Warm and Fuzzy.  I inked around the edges with Broken China Distress Ink and added an Impression Obsession snowflake. A strip of sparkly aqua washi tape finishes it off.
