I mentioned yesterday that Janis at Her Peaceful Garden surprised us by extending the Cat Lovers Hop - it's open until tonight! You know I couldn't resist joining one last time, so I am sharing another card from my "Honeydew and Kiwi Collection." Actually I could share a few more (it is a set of 12), but I will save some for next time!
Today's card features Kiwi in the rose garden! I started by stamping the roses (Micheals) in black on a white card base. Next I stamped Inspiration Words (Laura Ashley for Image Tree) in grey on a scrap/snippet of patterned paper and then trimmed with decorative-edge scissors. I stamped the same roses on an orange snippet, tore all around the edges, and adhered. I fussy-cut Kiwi from a photo and popped him up with foam tape. I finished off the card with a 3-D butterfly sticker and a strip of black gems.

I'm already recognizing Kiwi and Honeydew just from your thumbnail photos so it looks like these sweeties are making their way into my heart as well as yours! The stamped rose background is wonderful in black and white and the perfect match to Kiwi's beautiful markings. I love the vintage look!
Kiwi is a cutie in the rose garden. I have been off doing other things and just realized that it was extended. I was so busy making cat cards my Halloween cards are being mailed out late, hehe.

Beautiful setting for Kiwi!!! Love the damask background in black and white and the wonderful background paper for the kitty. The partial frame of black rhinestones is perfect.

Another gorgeous Kiwi card! Drat! I just got back on the internet from my trip and see I missed the extension. Oh, well, I didn't have a backup stash of kitty cards with me to post anyway. : ) Hope your repair job goes smoothly and quickly. Looking forward to seeing you back in action soon!
Of all your cat cards, this one is my fave, Kitty!!!! What a beautiful photo of Kiwi and he looks so lovely against the orange bg!!! The black gems and the pretty butterfly really look great!!! You really had fun on this hop, hey - hope Janis will do another one next year - it was fun to see all the cat cards!!!!
