Glitter n Sparkle DT - Use a Punch or Die-Cut

Hello, everybody!  It's Sunday, so that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog! Our theme this week is Use a Punch or Die-cut!  I don't know about you, but I don't use my punches much any more.  I mostly use my dies, but I did use a punch on this card, and you'll have to keep reading to find out about the punch.

First I would like to tell you about the fun image I used.  It's called "If You've Got it, Haunt It" from Oddball Art Co.  This digi was a freebie over in the Oddball Art Co. Facebook Group and I was lucky enough to snag it! I decided to make an inky background with my Distress Inks - I love this technique for silhouette images. I sponged Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, and Seedless Preserves and then added a few water droplets.  I love how it turned out!

I added some fun die-cuts: Black Cat and Bat (Frantic Stamper Cute Halloween Icons), Spider Web Border (Poppystamps), and Spider (Impression Obsession).  I coated the spider with Glossy Accents and cut a second spider in white to give him a shadow. I added some fun googly eyes to the bat and cat and a sparkly sentiment sticker (thank you, Bibiana!). You're wondering which punch I used?  I rounded all four corners of my card with We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper.
