Scrolly Deer

Hello, everyone!  Before I share my card, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to four lovely new followers - Julie Odil, Monica Taylor, Mynnette Kitchen, and Bad Kitty - so happy to have you here!

I am way behind in making my Christmas cards this month!  I like to make two each month and this is my first one for May, so stay tuned as I will have another one this week.  I was able to put this one together fairly quickly.  The background paper is from the dollar store.  I die-cut the Lawn Fawn Forest Border in white and layered it onto the patterned paper and stamped a sentiment (All Night Media/Plaid) in Ancient Page Chocolate.  I die-cut Die-Namites Scrolly Deer in brown and added three brown gems.

I would like to support the following 10 challenges:
  1. CRAFT Christmas but no Red or Green 1/5
  2. Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Use Something Die Cut or Punched UE
  3. Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra May AG UE
  4. Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper May UE
  5. Crimbo Crackers Christmas AG UE
  6. Little Claire's Outdoors 1/3
  7. Pixie's Snippet Playground Die cuts are made from snippets 2/3
  8. Rudolph Day AG Christmas 1E C10
  9. Scrappy Moms Stamps Animals UE
  10. The 12 Months of Christmas Link-up Christmas with Optional Christmas Critters 1/3 FT

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a joyful day!

P.S. I have candy!  Check out my 2-year Blogiversary celebration post here.

Wow!! Such a wonderful Christymas card!!! It's a CAS, I think... This Scrolly Deer is just gorgous and you matched it very well with the forest border!!! Fabulous effect! And the snow is perfectly represented with the white polka dots background!! The brown sequins and sentiment give a beautiful contrast! Great work, I love it so much!

That deer image is crazy but I really like it. I don't like how most deer stamps have the deer with overly large racks of antlers, but if you are going to have too big of antlers you might as well make them ridiculously big and scrolly like this one! What a great winter scene!
