This one took a bit of time - I did some good old-fashioned stamping here and even got out my Perfect Pearls to give it some lustre. I created my own background by stamping several Asian-themed stamps in grey on turquoise cardstock, brushed on gold Perfect Pearls, stamped the sentiment in black, mounted on purple cardstock, and covered a white card base. Next I created two panels to follow the sketch (see below) using purple cardstock, onto which I stamped an Asian cat symbol repeatedly in gold, brushed on turquoise Perfect Pearls, and affixed to the card.
I stamped the cat image in black on white cardstock, coloured with pencils, mounted on black and then gold cardstock, and affixed to the card. Lastly, I added two glittery turquoise butterflies with buttons tied with gold twine, two gold punched butterflies accented with black gems, and four shimmery metallic turquoise flowers. - Butterfly punch: EK Success
- Embellishments: Glitter butterflies, buttons (Recollections), gold twine, metallic flowers (dollar store)
