Poppies and Butterflies

Hello, everyone.  I made this card for someone in the hospital. Sometimes "Get Well Soon" doesn't cut it, so I like "Thinking of You."  I wanted this card to be bright and cheerful.

I started with a white card base, which I covered with green cardstock, onto which I layered some poppy-patterned paper.  I stamped the sentiment on the patterned paper and embellished with a chipboard butterfly, a butterfly charm, and two punched butterflies embellished with red gems.  I tied the charm with purple twine.  Here are the supplies used:

• Stamp:  Sentiment (Technique Tuesday)
• Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
• Patterned paper:  Rowena Stott
• Cardstock:  Recollections
• Punches:  Unmarked/unknown, probably Michaels or dollar store
• Accents:  Chipboard butterfly, charm, twine, gems (Dollarama)
