Flowerbed Kitty

Yes, another kitty card!  I do love kitties! 

This time I used this cute little kitty image and sentiment from Doodle Pantry called Kitty Bouquet.  I printed the image twice so I could fussy-cut and paper-piece just the kitty.  I coloured with pencils, then paper-pieced the kitty back in the flowerbed with foam tape to give dimension.  I die-cut the image, doodled stitching around the outer edge, and layered onto a burgundy die cut. 

For the card, I started with a white card base and covered it with black cardstock, onto which I layered the beautiful flower/butterfly papers that I got from Trimgym's Digistamps, Papers and Images (thank you, Jo).  I added a strip of burgundy cardstock and affixed the mounted image.  I printed the sentiment on pale orange paper and affixed it to the bottom of the image.  I embellished the card with three orange flowers attached with brads, a layered orange butterfly, a layered orange die-cut flower, and seven pale orange gems (you can hardly see them in the photo, but they're on the top right and bottom left corner and on the kitty's collar).  Supplies used:
