(If you are looking for my Visions of Sugar Plums Blog Hop projects,
Hello, everyone! I am excited to announce that I'm a Guest Designer at
Connie Can Crop this month! Thank you to Connie for inviting me!
The theme for December is "Baby, It's Cold Outside," so the challenge is to create a project using a
snowman, snow, or snowflakes.
I hope you'll head over and join the fun - please tell Connie that Kitty sent you!
Here's a direct link to the
December challenge, where you will find the link-up, challenge rules, and prize to be won!
For my project, I made a set of four winter cards! Scene cards are my favourite type of card to make! I included a snowman, snow, and snowflakes on each one! A sweet friend recently gave me these cute chipboard snowmen, as well as the patterned paper, and I couldn't wait to use them! I knew they would be perfect for my winter scenes!
Each card is different but I followed the same basic design. I die-cut a snowy landscape and added Stickles for some sparkle. I used the snowy patterned paper for the sky, added a chipboard snowman, and stamped a sentiment in a coordinating ink. The little scenes are mounted on cardstock and then adhered to a snowflake-embossed card front. I finished off each card with a different embellishment: snowflake sequins, regular sequins, pearl snowflakes, and a snowman charm with ribbon.
These same products were used on all cards:
- Embossing folder: Die'sire Embossalicious Let it Snow
- Patterned paper and chipboard snowmen: Gift from my friend Debi B (thank you!)
- Other: Diamond Stickles
Here is a close-up of each card, along with the additional products used.
