Let's start with the card. I stamped the penguins from Pink and Main - Snow Globe and coloured them with watercolour markers and Prismacolor pencils.
I heat-embossed the sentiment from Pink and Main - Snow Sweet in white on a black scrap and hand-cut into a banner shape. The background is embossed with Cuttlebug Winter House and I used sandpaper to bring out the white core of the paper. I chose this background because it looks a lot like the street where my old house is located, and the gentlemen lives next door. I adhered a glittery white scrap as the snowy hill to add some sparkle as this area didn't sand very well. The penguins are fussy-cut and popped up with foam tape. I didn't add any embellishments since this is for a man.
Here's the snow globe after I shook it up - so fun!
The background was made by heat-embossing the snowy landscape from Snow Globe with WOW! Atlantic Seaspray embossing powder. I heat-embossed a number of snowflakes from the Snow Globe and Snow Sweet sets in white. I masked off the snow and sponged Shaded Lilac Distress Ink to create the sky. I coloured the penguin from Snow Globe with Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and adhered.
The tag was die-cut with Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1 and I cut a second tag in black for layering.
The sky on this one was created with Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks, and the snowflakes and landscape from Snow Globe were heat-embossed with WOW! Atlantic Seaspray but I dabbed Adirondack Snow Cap on each flake as I wanted to add some white. I heat embossed a simple thanks sentiment (Newton's Nook) in white on the black tag and added some ribbon with a tiny stapler. This penguin was coloured with watercolour markers.
