Butterfly Thanks

Hi, everyone!  I have one more card to share today!  I wanted to use my brand-new STAMPlorations Butterfly Cover Plate die that I bought during Shery's spring sale.

My card began with an alcohol ink background on yupo paper using various shades of blue (Ranger, Adirondack).  I added a butterfly die-cut in white (STAMPlorations Flutter Zen 2) with two blue gems adhered to the body.  I die-cut the sentiment from a scrap of the same alcohol ink background (STAMPlorations Thanks a Latte Phrase) and trimmed the extra words.

Quarantine Day 56

Hello again!  I'm back with a coffee-themed card! This week I've been inspired by the 2020 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. There are already over 900 link-ups and the hop is going on until Friday!  Wow, that's a lot of amazing inspiration!  Thank you to Amy and her team for this fun hop!

I was going for some humour with this card, but it's more like the story of  my life at this time, haha!  I used a fun pre-coloured image from Free Dearie Dolls and I fussy-cut so I could pop her up on foam tape.  Behind the girl is a beautiful mandala designed by Mia at Craftartista.  This one is Mandala 8  - it's a free image and she has other free mandalas as well (thank you!).  I printed this one in grey ink and fussy-cut so it would look like a doily.  Mia is having a 3rd Blogaversary Celebration and I am pleased to participate. Congratulations, Mia!

Continuing on with my card, I created the Quarantine Diary title in Word.  I fussy-cut a fun sentiment from Taylored Expressions, which was a freebie at one point (thank you!).  I made the vertical word Coffee with digital Scrabble tiles. The background paper is from Echo Park, and I finished the card by adding some puffy stickers (pencil, coffee cup, and clock).

Tasty Treats

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a winter holiday card!  My goal this month was to make three holiday cards and this is my third, so I did it!  Yay!

I upcycled these hot cocoa tags from last Christmas.  I embossed kraft cardstock with Die'sire Embossalicious Let it Snow and adhered a sparkly red scalloped rectangle frame (Gina Marie Designs).  I stamped a sentiment (Your Next Stamp Waddles Holiday Food Truck) and finished the card with a few white snowflake sequins and some punched snowflakes in red glitter (Recollections punch).

Consciousness

Hello again! I'm back with another coffee-themed card!  I've been inspired by the 2020 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. There are already over 700 link-ups and lots of amazing inspiration!  Thank you to Amy and her team for organizing another fun hop!  I made this card for hubby and he got a kick out of it!

I started with the background by stencilling the coffee rings and splotches with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide on a kraft panel, which I die-cut with a stitched rectangle (Gina Marie Designs) and then layered onto red cardstock.  This funny image, including the sentiment, is Bugaboo Stamps Gus Tidbits Consciousness and I coloured it with markers and fussy-cut so I could pop it up on foam tape.  I also fussy-cut the sentiment and adhered with foam tape.  

I recycled a coffee sleeve (see photo below)!  I've been wanting to use this on a card for ages and finally did!  I trimmed and layered it according to the sketch below and then stamped the sentiment (Your Next Stamp Happiness is You).  I also included the caution words from the coffee sleeve, which I thought were fun and worked well with the sketch.  I printed the buttons in red (Scribbles Designs freebie, thank you!), fussy-cut, and adhered.

Coffee Chick

Hello, everyone!  I'm back with my second card today for the 2020 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Check out the link for details on how you can take part!  My card features the adorable Coffee Chick from Gerda Steiner Designs, who is one of the generous Super Sponsors of the hop (thank you, Gerda!).

I coloured the image with markers and fussy-cut so I could pop her up on foam tape.  I embossed yellow cardstock and die-cut some patterned and burlap paper so I could assemble a background according to the sketch below.  I stamped a sentiment and embellished the card with some purple gems.

Rose Blooms and Coffee

Hi, everybody! The 2020 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is happening right now! I always enjoy this hop so I got busy and made a few coffee-themed cards; this is the first. Check out the link for details on how you can join the fun, as well as the awesome list of sponsors!  My card features an image from STAMPlorations, one of the generous Super Sponsors of the hop (thank you, Shery!).

This gorgeous image is STAMPlorations Rose Blooms and Coffee, and it was a freebie at one point; there is a new freebie now (thank you, Shery!).  I coloured the image with markers and fussy-cut so I could pop it up on foam tape.  I die-cut some patterned paper to make a background according to the sketch below.  For the sentiment, I used STAMPlorations Just Thank You Clear Sticker on a stitched banner die-cut (I received a sample of these stickers in my recent order - thank you, Shery!). To finish the card, I punched two butterflies and added some red gems.
