Skating Penguin Snow Globe

Hello, everyone!  Today I am sharing another snow globe.  I made a number of these for gifts so I will be sharing them over the next week or so. 


The cute penguin is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps called Little Penguin Winter - Skate. I coloured him with Prismacolor pencils. I made the background with Distress Inks, splattered with water, and then added Liquid Pearls to look like snowfall.  The snowy landscape is from Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes.

Here's what it looks like when shaken, so fun!

    I thought I recognized that penguin as a Bugaboo one. Haven't got many penguins as I find coloring with black extremely difficult, never succeeding in getting shades done. You did well though:)

    I love it! I did some snow globes a few years ago but they weren't as good quality globes as your one looks.

    That is so darling, Kitty -- beautifully colored, and a fantastic background that you made. What a precious gift! How did you make the globe? Is there a kit for it somewhere? I think these would be fun to try a hand at!

    I have this cute skating penguin, I choose it and others images from Bogaboo for my prize at your candy last year :D!!
    You made a fab work also with this snowglobe, the background looks so well with the "snow" that appears when it is shaken!
