Gift Stack Teddy Bear

Hello, everyone!  This is my last Christmas card for the year!  That being said, I'll be making more in January because I have a goal to make two Christmas cards each month (whether I want to or not hehe!).

 

My card today was made for the Stamp of the Month challenge at From the Heart Stamps. This image is called Gift Stack Teddy Bear, and I received this digi for free since I joined their challenge last month.


I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils and fussy-cut. The background was embossed with Couture Creations Joyful Christmas. I heat-embossed a sentiment from Poppystamps Cup of Cheer in white on a black scrap and then hand-cut into a banner shape.  I added Xmas Red Stickles to the heart. I die-cut polka-dot vellum with My Creative Time Bunch of Fun Circles and adhered the image and sentiment according to the sketch at From the Heart Stamps - I {heart} sketches #132 shown here:

    I love this bright teddy image on the gorgeous embossed background. Beautiful card Kitty. I am looking forward to the Star Wars movie even though like you it is not my type of movie. I remember watching the very first one on video tape lol. Showing my age now. Michelle x

    Super cute card, great take on the sketch. I'm going to join the Jingle belles Rock challenge to get a jump start on the Christmas cards and then I won't be making ones with snow men on to send out that say Warm Winter Wishes.

    This bear is very cute and the vellum makes pop out so well it from the embossined background!! LOVE the banner embossed in white with the red sparkling heart!!

    What a sweet little bear stamp and card, you have been very busy and I saw every project, loved the snow globe kitty.     Great card Kitty, it must feel good to put the final touches on your last Christmas card for the year. You did a wonderful job colouring the sweet little image and I love the embossed background too. The white embossing on the black card stock looks fabulous... love that little heart. Well done!

    Loving that embossing folder you used in the background...will be searching that as soon as I finish commenting. I notice you have a lot of challenges you have submitted it to, but I have a couple more if you are interested. Since I also read that you are going to try to do a couple Christmas cards each month you may want to join 12 Months of Christmas, they have a lot of rules and free digis, and it's Christmas all year. Another one is Merry Monday Christmas and Christmas Stamping All Year Long. Thought you might be interested.
