Growing in Unity - Day 3 (Giveaway)

Hello, everybody!  This is Day 3 as a "Growing in Unity Girl" and I am having fun!  Each day, Monday to Friday, I  will be sharing a card made with my Unity Stamp Co. stamps.  If you like, you can scroll back to see my previous cards.  There's a giveaway, so please join me each day to see what I made!  Here's today's card:

I adore anything and everything retro so it was love at first sight when I saw this Unity Stamp - Going Retro set.  First I created the colour-blocked background with some brightly coloured cardstock and then stamped the images in black.  You will notice I paper-pieced the dress and a flower on one of the hats. I also doodled some dots on the skirt with a black fineliner.  The sentiment is from the same set and it has been heat-embossed in white on a black scrap.  I doodled some white dots around the border with a paint marker and adhered a butterfly to the old-style TV.  To finish the card, I adhered some black gems to the butterfly and at the top left corner.  This was such a fun card to make!

Giveaway
Would you like to win a $20 gift credit to Unity Stamp Co.?  Make sure to come back each day this week to see what I create with my Unity stamps and then comment on all five of my Growing in Unity posts to be included in the giveaway!  Deadline for comments is 5PM EDT, Sunday, March 20.  There will be two lucky winners!

  7. I love retro as well - takes me back to my childhood. My Mom even had a 'retro' style TV until about 2013 when she had no choice but to get a flat TV. lol Your card is lovely and I like the Andy Warhol vibe with the color patterns.
