Kitties Walking in the Snowy Woods

Hello, everybody! I have been inspired to make winter and holiday cards this month!  There are a lot of fun and inspirational challenges around blog land! 

Christmas Kickstart #23 has a theme of snow, and you already know I've been playing along with Beccy's Place and her Month of Holiday Cards!  It's an Alphabet Challenge and Day 5 is "E," so I went with Evergreens!


This sweet kitties are digital clipart from TheDigitalChick on Etsy. I love these kitties as they remind me of a children's storybook! I fussy-cut the image and popped it up on foam tape.  The square background behind the kitties is from The Paper Shelter - Hope.

I made a little scene so that these kitties are taking a peaceful winter walk in the woods. The evergreen trees are a die from Cottage Cutz, and the stitched snowy landscape dies are from Poppystamps. The patterned paper is from MME Winter Wonderland, and the sentiment is from Deedee's Digis. I finished off my card with some punched snowflakes (Recollections punch) in white and two green snowflake sequins.

    Awwww, so cute! It looks to me like the big brother is taking his little sister for a walk in the woods and teaching her all about the trees and weather... or perhaps he's telling her a Christmas story. Either way it's very cute. Love the little scene you created with the snow drifts, die cut trees and little snow flakes. Beautiful.
