Pumpkin Patch

Hello, everyone!  Today I am participating in Deedee's Digis' progressive challenge for October. Since I joined the Digi-of-the-Month challenge last month, I received this month's image for free.  It's called Pumpkin Patch - thank you, Deedee, for this adorable little scene!


I used the pre-coloured version, sponged Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create the sky, and die-cut it with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares. The patterned papers are from Me & My Big Ideas fall scrapbook kit and I layered them on brown cardstock.  I added a Cheery Lynn tree and squirrel, some Michaels/Recollections leaves and acorn, Jolee's flower (thank you, Gail!), and a few brown gems from my stash.  The sentiment is from Deedee's Digis Pumpkin Patch set, and I die-cut it with Nellie's Multiframe Ovals and sponged with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.

    Cute and with plenty of autumn feel! I love that you adde the die cut tree and the leaves and nuts for texture. They look randomly placed, but in an organized way, that's what I'm struggling with, adding stuff and avoid it looking messy....
