Halloween and The Hop to Stop

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm joining The Hop to Stop with a Halloween card.  I used the World Card Making Day freebie from Create with TLC (thank you, Paulette). The owls freebie is still available here if you'd like to snag it for yourself.


 I decided at the last minute on WCMD to participate in Paulette's challenge so I opted for a quick card. I used a beautiful Halloween frame freebie from my friend Neli over at Lugar Encantado de Neli (thank you, Neli, I love your freebies!).  

I have been making a lot of purple cards lately because I want to support The Hop to Stop, a blog hop designed to raise awareness about domestic violence. One in three women will experience domestic violence over the course of their lifetimes. Just think about it... that's 33% of all the women you meet.  Purple is the domestic violence awareness colour.  I explained my connection to this issue in a previous blog post.


Please become informed about domestic violence, its impacts, and available resources. You can visit the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence for more information. Canadians can find out more here.  I hope to see you at The Hop to Stop to support this important issue.

    Wow!! Stunning and so impressive card, Kitty!!! This card is just a catch-eyes!!! The colours are so bright and vibrant, love this free frame!!! And the two black and white owls that you have added in the circle frame give a bit retro look to your make! The black cat is just wonderful!
