Thanks a Bushel

Hello, everyone!  I would like to extend a warm welcome to my newest follower - katie ota - thank you for joining me!  Today I am sharing a card I made for the Digi of the Month challenge over at Imagine That... digis by Kris. The September digi is called Maggie's Apples.


I used the pre-coloured version but the set also comes with the digi you can colour yourself.  I added some clear Wink of Stella to the apples.  You can't really see it in the photos but there is a nice sparkle.  The patterned paper is from Graphic 45. I used Lawn Fawn Speech Bubble Border to die-cut the sentiment, which is one of six sentiments included in the Maggie's Apples set. I used Lawn Fawn Grassy Border and inked the grass with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.  I die-cut the little scene with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles and added an apple charm tied with black twine.

    Lots of fun die cuts on this card and the image is super cute. I have a cousin who loves cows and this image would be perfect for her. Terrific card!

    Totally adorable!!! Love your layout! The colored image looks great on your card! I've been thinking about using some of the precolored images to make the cards quicker to make, and yours has inspired me! Awesome card! :)

    SOOO cute Kitty, Oh my... I really love the stitched rectangle (Must have!!) and also the big speech bubble (also a must have!!) sooo cute. Love that you put this digi on a red bg too and the grass really pops, such a fabby card!! :) Thanks for enabling me today ;o)

    Hi Kitty, this cow is very cute and looks great in the grass! Love the bubble, its fantastic!! The apples have a beautiful 3D look, great work!
