Happy Fall

Hello, everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I made for the Digi of the Month challenge over at Deedee's Digis. The September digi is called Leaf Your Cares Behind. I like joining progressive challenges because I get a new digi to play with every month - for free! 


Isn't this a sweet elephant! I love elephants! I used the pre-coloured version, but the set also comes with the digi you can colour yourself. I used a beautiful fall background from All-Free-Download and added the Happy Fall sentiment from Imagine That... digis by Kris three times, the middle one in a darker colour.  I sponged Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink all along the sentiment area.  I mounted the little scene on brown cardstock and then affixed to a white card base.

    Oh, these warm colours are so beautiful! Beautiful card, so perfect for a kid!! I also love elephant, I love all the animals! This little elephant is so cute!!! And the background is just perfect with the leaf that circles on his head! Love the idea to repeat a sentiment to create another longer sentiment and your darker colouring on a phrase.
    Thanks for your comment, you are very sweet as always! I must repair my computer, but luckily I have an old notebook, too... so in the meantime I can use this. Just it's so slow... and visit all the blogs it's a long, long travel...!! :D
