Sailboat Shaker Card (ITDK)

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a fun shaker card I made with the April Digi of the Month from Imagine That... Digis by Kris. This is a progressive challenge. Since I made a card last month using the March digi, I received this April digi for free! You can join at any time; see details here.


I think this sailboat would be great for a boy's birthday card so that's what I made! I added the ocean waves that also came with the April set. The cloud paper is from Little Scraps of Heaven, and it was a freebie at one point. The cute sun is from Miss Kate's Cuttables, another freebie; and the sentiment is from Imagine That...Digis by Kris, from the Birthday Seahorse set. The dark-blue patterned frame is also ITDK, from the coordinating paper pack available as a Pixel Scrapper Blog Train freebie. The white shaker frame was die cut using Simon Says Stamps stitched rectangles. Inside the shaker are sequins in blues and golds.

    Oooo, how COOL!! Love all the pretty sequins in your shaker card Kitty, you are so creative!! Love it so much. Perfect sentiment too - reminds me of the movie "Castaway" drifting on that raft. Anywho... any boy would be so happy to get this for his special day. :) THANK YOU!!! Happy Easter xx

    Your card is great! I love that it is a shaker card, something I need to do more of. I also love your colors. I always struggle with sea/water themed cards.

    This is fun AND gorgeous all rolled into one. I know it isn't really girly so it doesn't classify as gorgeous to some... but I can call it what I want, right? hehehe!
    I love the sky and the fun image.. but those sea colored sequins stole my heart. Beautiful design!
