Shamrock Bear (2 Cute Ink image)

Hello, everyone!  I'm back again today with another card!  I received this adorable little Shamrock Bear from 2 Cute Ink for being one of their newsletter subscribers. I don't usually make St. Patrick's Day cards, but this little guy is so sweet that I just had to get him coloured and onto a card!

Continuing on my quest to use up my hoard of washi tape, I created  a background with various greens and gold. I was inspired by the colours at Your Next Stamp (see below).  Some of the tapes are sparkly - they look fabulous in person!  Like I said, I don't usually make St. Patrick's Day cards so I went with a Just Because sentiment from Serendipity Stamps.  I hand-cut it into a fishtail banner and doodled stitching along the top and bottom edges.  To finish off my card, I added a number of flower sequins - these are new - I found them at the dollar store!

I would like to support these fun challenges:

  21. I have a hoard of washi tape too but I don't have anywhere near this kind of CUTE tape. My tape is lame compared to yours. Obviously I need to double my hoard. This is a really cute card made with a cute image.

  22. Yay for this one, using up some of the excellent Washi tapes. Really a stunner background for this cute little bear. I'm with P.J.& her excellent comment: I have lots of Washi, but don't think I have a single one of these - and I do need to make a few St. Pat's cards. Won't be what I usually do I am thinking, cause I'm burnt out with the Valentine ones!!! TFS & Hugs
