I picked a gorgeous image for today's card - it's called Snow Deer Scene from Ike's Art - I love it! I changed the colour of the image to purple and added white glitter all along the snow and trees. The image is popped up with foam tape.

I used my Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders to create the snowbank and added some Impression Obsession trees, cut from leftover snippets in my stash. The background paper is from Dollarama.

The sentiment is a wood-mounted stamp from Inkadinkado and I stamped it in Ancient Page Lavender. The fawn die is from Marianne Design, which was cut from a leftover snippet.
Of course, Elfis (my Elf) couldn't resist getting in the photo so I could link up over at DL.ART's Second Annual Elf Antics Linky Party!

ReplyDeleteLike how you framed & popped up the Deer images. My hubby was in Colorado Springs, Co last wk on business. One day he was driving around a neighborhood and came across a Buck & Doe. He photographed them. The Buck & Doe were near some houses and were very close to a house's front door.

Just scrolling through your posts - enjoying all those pretty tags. Really splendid looks for each one of them. Then I got to this wonderful wintery scene. It's absolutely gorgeous. Love the stitched snow hills, the colors you selected (very icy in feel) and love that you got the DP at the Dollarama. Love it when folks get a good bargain buy and make something beautiful. You've been a very busy Kitty! Glad you have your elves & kitties to keep you company as you're crafting. Big hugs & TFS. Not seeing the WV - so I guess you got it fixed - hope so.
