Who's Afraid of Halloween?

Hello, everyone.  I'm back with another Halloween card.  This one is all hand-stamped/wet embossed (no digis).  While I do enjoy digis, I still love playing around with traditional stamping techniques.


I started with a kraft card base and added a torn black strip.  Next I added a torn sheet music page, perfect for Halloween.  For the images, I stamped and embossed with either black or white and then fussy-cut.  The sentiment was embossed in white, and then I tore all around the edges.  Lastly I embellished with three bats.  Here are the supplies used:
  • Stamps:  Cat and sentiment (Stampin' Up! Trick or Treat set), pumpkin (Kolette Hall for Studio G)
  • Ink:  Versamark Water Mark
  • Embossing powder:  The Artful Stamper 
  • Cardstock:  Stampin' Up!, Recollections
  • Accents:  Bats (Dollarama)
