Vintage - In my Thoughts

Hello, everyone.  Today I have made a vintage card.

 

 

I just love this sweet image - it's a freebie from Create with TLC, and you can find it there under the Vintage Graphics tab (scroll down; it's the seventh image).  I coloured it with pencils and mounted on brown cardstock.  Two other elements on my card are also from Create with TLC.  The sentiment was a freebie offered at one point, and I printed it on yellow cardstock, trimmed, and edged in brown ink.  The bird image was part of a promo set I received when I made a purchase from Create with TLC's Artfire store (sorry this promo is no longer available, but you're in luck - there is a promo on right now until September 13 and it's a digital stamp set of birds - go check it out here). 

 

Now back to my card... I circle-punched the bird image, sponged and inked in brown, hole-punched and added some ribbon and three gems.  For the base of my card, I began by covering a white card with brown cardstock onto which I layered green cardstock that I had stamped with several bird-related stamps and sponged with brown ink.  I affixed two torn tea-stained strips of sheet music, onto which I attached the image.  I added several paper flowers, the bird image, sentiment, a heart charm tied with twine, and six brown gems.  Here are the supplies used:
