It's Back-to-School Time, Kitty

Hello, everyone.  Today I have made a back-to-school card.


I did a lot of embossing and layering on this one.  That cute little kitty is from Digi Darla Designs called Animal Tags Kitty, and I added my own sentiment on Kitty's sign and then coloured the image with pencils.  I layered everything on the card according to the Everybody Art Challenge sketch (see bottom of blog post) and then embellished with a pencil that says "Imagination," a punched apple, ribbon and bow, gems, and butterflies.  Here are the supplies used:
  • Digi stamp:  Digi Darla Designs - Animal Tags Kitty
  • Coloured pencils:  Prismacolor
  • Embossing folders:  Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles, Swiss Dots, and Spots & Dots
  • Die: Spellbinders Lacey Circles
  • Punches:  Butterflies (EK Success), apple (Michaels)
  • Pencil:  Fussy-cut from patterned paper (Mary & Co - Studio 18)
  • Ribbon, gems:  Dollar store

    The embossing really make a BIG statement. It amazes me how much oomph in can add to a card. I really like this.
