Flower Thinking of You

I was inspired to make this card by two challenges:  (1) Sketchy Colors (use their sketch and colours in inspiration photo - see below) and (2) Just Inspirational Challenges (see inspiration photo below - I was inspired by the lilac flower).  I stamped the flower in black, coloured it with watercolour markers, and layered it with brown, green, lilac and brown cardstock.  Prior to layering, I stamped French Script in brown on the green cardstock and embossed the lilac cardstock.  I die-cut an eyelet circle from the green cardstock and attached it to a lilac panel, layered on a brown panel.  I stamped the sentiment in brown on a white scrap and layered it with brown cardstock and affixed to card.  Lastly I embellished with a lilac flower and three brown gems.  Supplies used for this card were:
  • Stamps:  Flower (The Stamp Barn), French Script (Stampin' Up!), sentiment (The Old Island Stamp Company)
  • Ink:  StazOn - Jet Black, Clearsnap Ancient Page - Chocolate
  • Watercolour Markers:  Tombow
  • Watercolour Paper:  Canson
  • Die:  Spellbinders Eyelet Circles
  • Embossing Folder:  Cuttlebug Baby's Breath
  • Cardstock:  Recollections, Stampin' Up, Dollarama
  • Flower, Gems:  Dollarama
