The Birth of Christ - Day 9 Scripture Writing

Hello, everyone. Today I am sharing my scripture-writing journal page for December 9. These verses continue on from yesterday's page (Days 7 and 8).

Luke 1:39-45 describes Mary's visit to her relative Elisabeth in the hill country of Judea. At Mary's greeting, Elizabeth's unborn son leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, declared that Mary was "blessed among women" and blessed was the child she would bear. She then blessed Mary for believing the Lord's promises.

I like to add printables from my digital stash to make the page more interesting:

  • Illustration - Deanna's Printables Facebook Group
  • Scripture word art - Word Art Wednesday
  • Label - Antique Images
  • Title Square - Self-made
  • Number - Vintage Glam Studio

I use the Authorized King James Version of the Bible to write scriptures.

  1. You're creating something truly personal that you can pick up anytime, reminisce about, draw strength from, and enjoy your creativity. I wish you continued joy with it!!
Dear Kitty! We're doing well, including the furry ones!! Unfortunately, we don't have any snow, quite the opposite. We're having spring-like temperatures. That's not good either!!
Take good care of yourself, and I hope you feel better soon. Warmest regards to Brian as well. Hugs Gundi
